Conscious sedation is the use of medication to "take the edge off", but requires that the patient be awake (conscious) during the procedure. When conscious sedation fails or is considered inappropriate for the nature or amount of dental work, deep sedation or general anesthesia is recommended. In the hands of our board certified Anesthesiologist, it is as safe for the patient to receive deep sedation or general anesthesia as it is conscious sedation. With the use of modern, short-acting anesthetics, patients are just as awake and alert after general anesthesia as they are after conscious sedation.

General Anesthesia, or sleep dentistry, is the deepest level of sedation administered by means of intravenous and/or inhalation agents. With general anesthesia, the patient is not conscious and does not see, hear, or feel anything. It provides pain relief, and amnesia (so that you don't remember the details surrounding your dental procedures) all at the same time.
While you sleep, the dentist can perform multiple procedures including implants or root canals. You’ll wake up with a new smile, with no memory of the procedure being performed. This technique is recommended for very young children, very resistant children, severe dental phobics, and special needs patients who are unable to cooperate for dental treatment.

Oral Sedation is a sedative pill taken by mouth that is safe, convenient and economical. When administered by a qualified dentist such as our dentist, Oral sedation can be more effective and deliver a deeper relaxation state than other forms of sedation. When you come for your free initial consultation, the dentist will review your medical history and will determine if oral sedation is the best sedation option for you. The time you spend in the dentist chair will feel like minutes. Before you know it, the procedure is over and you will have little recollection of the entire experience.

Laughing Gas is one of the safest and the lightest forms of sedation available. It is non-allergenic and non-irritating. The gas also tends to reduce gag reflexes and saliva flow.
A small mask will be placed over the patient’s nose and adjusted so that the patient is comfortable. The dentist will gradually introduce the laughing gas. Once the patient feels completely relaxed, the procedure will begin. Patients will feel totally relaxed during their treatment when sedated with laughing gas.

IV Sedation or "Intravenous Sedation" is administered through a drug directly into a vein close to the surface of the skin. IV drip consists of an anti-anxiety medication which puts the patient into a state of deep relaxation. Time will appear to pass very quickly and you will not recall much, or perhaps even nothing at all, of what happened. It is the most preferred and predictable method of sedation where deep sedation is desired. Profound state of relaxation and amnesia is achieved during IV sedation.
During all sedation appointments, the blood pressure and pulse are continually monitored on our patients. In addition, we monitor the oxygen saturation levels of the blood with a pulse oximeter that gently clips onto the finger.

They are so nice. I normally have really sensitive gums but they are not bad at all when I get my teeth cleaned. They give me really good advice and answer any questions I have about my teeth. Our family comes here. Also great with kids.

Came for a cleaning and the cleaning was very good, felt like my teeth were separated from how clean they cleaned it. The inside is super pretty also!

Always a pleasant experience- love the staff so friendly!! My mouth never felt better!

I had not been to the dentist in a long time, and decided to make an appointment here for an exam/cleaning. I heard back from them right away and it was easy to make an appointment. It's clean and welcoming. Everyone made me feel comfortable and did a thorough job. They communicated well throughout the appointment and afterwards. Couldn't ask for more.
